The producer of Abana was not ready to take the big risk of making a Hindi film, which required big money. After three years of, under the persuation T.M. Bihari relented and agreed to make a Hindi film. Arjun Hingorani was his first and last choice. He introduced Dharmendra to him for the leading role. He agreed.’Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere,’ was made.
